Two Piece and a Biscuit Bio:

Check out the improvisation and compositions performed by this melting pot of some of the Country's most seasoned up and coming players. Guaranteed to wear your feet out, every show!
Beck Hall, 39, is a bassist that has been a band leader plus a touring & session bassist for the last twenty five years. He continues to put together projects and arrange material specifically in the genres of Funk and Rock, with jazz, and afro-cuban influences as well. As the founder of Two Piece and a Biscuit, he has also been a major contributing member of The Pearl, The Dagobah System, High Fidelity, Light, and local jam band - The Stop. Although he is self taught starting at the age of nine, he began teaching others at 18, while continuing to pursue his favorite musical endeavors, mainly playing improvisational Funk/Fusion with as many people he can learn from, as well as learning particularly challenging bass compositions.
Marcus White, 33, is a classically trained and recorded keyboard and piano player, specializing in jazz & funk, rock & electronica, plus everything in between. A native to Washington DC, Marcus, moved to Chattanooga, TN about 5 years ago. Playing with the likes of The Marcus King Band, Soul Mechanic, and his newest project, The Killa Keyz Band - Marcus is an amazing improvisor, easily utilizing that new age funk and jazz synth solo sound that so many players strive to eventually master.
Jonathan Harms, 30, is an up and coming guitar player, coming out of Tuscaloosa, AL, where he currently resides after studying music at The University of Alabama for Music. He’s played with the likes of Lou Soloff (Blood Sweat and Tears), Danny Gotlieve (ThePat Metheny Group), and has been a bandleader for several jazz, post bebop, and funk projects; as well as a studio player and even a bassist when needed. Considered by many to be one of the best and well versed guitarists in Alabama today..
Aj Covey, grew up playing drums in Phoenix Arizona, and has since learned to be a southern boy, now residing in Birmingham, AL. He’s a proud alumnus of the musical schools of The University of North Texas, The University of Michigan, and the Santa Clara Vanguard. When not performing with Rebecca Egeland, Winston Ramble, or Two Piece and a Biscuit, Aj teaches percussion at both Birmingham Southern College as well as The University of Montevallo.
